• • Materials required:
  • • 1 Moda LILY & WILL Blue & Ivory Fat Quarter Bundle or 15 assorted (4 ivory prints, 7 blue prints and 4 brown prints) fat quarters
    • 1 solid brown fat quarter
    • Background: 1 yard solid cream
    • Inner border & corner posts: 1/2 yard
    • Outer border: 3/4 yard
    • Binding: 3/4 yard bias or 1/2 yard non-bias
    • Backing: 3 1/2 yards
  • Embroidery:
  • • White chalk fabric pencil
    • Clover water erasable marker or fabric pencil
    • 1 skein embroidery floss, Cosmo #312 or DMC #3371 brown
    • Embroidery needles size 8, 9 or 10
  • Materials needed for needle turn applique or spray starch applique:
  • • Straw needles #10 or #11
    • DMC machine embroidery thread to match fabric
    • Applique pins & Roxanne's Glue Baste-It
    • Freezer paper, chalk pencil, Sharpie ultra fine permanent marker
    • Small sharp tip applique scissors and paper scissors
    • Spray starch, stylus, small glass jar, small stencil brush and craft iron
  • Materials needed for blanket stitch applique
  • • Thread to match or contrast with applique
    • 3 yards lightweight fusible webbing (Wonder Under or Steam a Seam)
